Much like the businesses in Kearney, their signs may be growing soon.

The Board of Aldermen amended the city’s signage ordinance at its Oct. 21 meeting to accommodate a proposed True Value store at 655 Missouri Highway 92. The amendment allows monument signs to be a maximum of 7 feet instead of 6 feet tall.
